Necessary ingredients –
Wheat flour – 3 cups
Gram flour – half cup
Fenugreek – One and half cup (finely chopped)
Green chili – 2 finely chopped
Garlic – 3 to 4 finely chopped
Red chili – half table spoon
Turmeric – half a table spoon
Coriander Powder – 1 tablespoon
Celery – half a table spoon
Cumin seeds – half a tablespoon
Oil – Methi Paratha to roast
salt to taste
Method of preparation of Fenugreek Paratha (Methi Paratha) –
First wash the finely chopped fenugreek well, take out all its water, add a little oil and salt and mix it and keep it for 10 minutes.
Take flour in a vessel, add gram flour, fenugreek, green chillies, garlic, cumin, celery, red chilli, turmeric, coriander powder and salt and mix all the things well.
Now add a little water and knead the soft dough. Cover the dough for 10 minutes. When the dough is set, mash the flour well with a little oil in your hand.
Now heat the pan on the gas, take the dough from the dough and wrap it in dry flour and roll it. Now apply a little oil on the pan and put the paratha, press it from both sides and apply the oil until it turns brown.
To make methi paratha (fenugreek paratha) crispy, bake it on medium flame.
Delicious methi paratha (fenugreek paratha) is ready, serve it with tomato sauce.
