Mango Cake Recipe – How to make Mango Cake

Ingredients required to make Eggless Mango Cake –

Semolina – 1 bowl

Sugar – 1 bowl

Milk – two bowls

Ghee – 3 tbsp

Cashews – 2 tablespoons

Almonds – 2 tablespoons

Mango – 1 medium size

Cardamom Powder – half a tablespoon

Eno powder – half a tablespoon (if there is no eno powder, you can replace it with a teaspoon of baking powder and a quarter teaspoon of baking soda)

Mango Cake Recipe:

First of all, wash the mango thoroughly, peel and cut it into pieces and grind it in a mixer to make a paste.

Now let’s prepare the container in which the cake is to be made. Take a container according to the size of the cooker in which you want to make the cake so that the container goes easily into the cooker. Now apply ghee in the container and lubricate it from all sides. Sprinkle some fine flour in the bottom of the container, doing so, it does not stick the cake in the container.

Now put salt in the cooker and spread it well. Place a small stand on top of the salt. On this stand, we will keep a cake container. We have to keep the container at a little height, that’s why we are using a stand in it.

Remove the whistle and inner ring of the cooker’s lid and put the lid in the cooker and keep it on the gas on low flame, let it heat up for 10 minutes.

Now take a bowl of semolina (rava or sooji) to prepare the batter in a vessel, put a bowl of sugar in it, then add some milk and mix it well. We do not have to dilute or thicken it too much. Now add mango paste and cardamom powder and mix well. Now add ghee and mix well. Keep it covered for 10 minutes so that semolina and sugar mix well.

After 10 minutes, mix the batter again. If it is thick, then add milk as required. Keep in mind that the batter should not be too thick or too thin.

Put small pieces of cashew nuts and almonds in it. Now put eno powder in it and mix well and immediately put this batter in the container. Keep in mind that the container should be half full and the batter should be spread evenly. Now open the lid of the cooker and carefully place the container on the stand. We have to cook it in a cooker on low heat for about 50 to 60 minutes.

After 50 minutes, open the lid of the cooker and with the help of the knife, see if the batter is cooked or not. If the batter is not sticking to the tip of the knife means the cake is all set.

Take out the cake container and let it cool. To cool the cake out of the container, turn the knife around and separate the cake from the container. Now knock the container upside down on a plate and the cake will come out. We can also use the salt kept in the cooker to make another cake, you can keep it.

Delicious mango cake is ready, you can decorate it with dry fruit and cut it into the desired shape.
